Keeping Your Child Safe
Stoneyholme Nursery School is committed to safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children and young people.

- Rigorous procedures and policies are in place to keep all children safe.
- All staff, governors and volunteers have Enhanced DBS checks every 3 years.
- Staff receive safeguarding training throughout the year.
- Staff teach the pupils how to keep safe, both in general and online as part of the curriculum throughout the year.
- The Governing Board undertake training to support them in their role.
The Designated Safeguarding Lead and Child Protection is Mrs Holden, Headteacher. This means Mrs Holden undertakes specialist training to ensure the school is safeguarded at all times. There are also 2 Deputy Safeguarding Leads in school. These are: Mrs Bridges and Mrs Begum.
